I saw a light today

Long are the roads and so is the distance
the passage to a heart is sometimes a narrow entrance.

Trees in the greens are passing by quickly
they will be never seen again is quite likely.

I search for some resemblance to what i see every day
the wonders of today are visions of an unusual day.

Dirt tracks and wild beauties grace the travel route
pulling me back to my very own roots.

I pause and gaze at the blooming yellow meadows
leaving no trace of lonely and sad shadows.

There were walls of heritage standing poised through time
you can build one only with virtue and some dime.

The mirage is not real and its vision is not clear
showing me the images I've seen only here.

The skyline is clear showing stars that were hidden
Bringing back treasured memories that were forgotten.

I saw a light today that guided me to eternity
today is the time to live in nature's lovely vanity.
